Apache Junction - Join us for the annual 4th of July celebration on Monday, July 4th 2016.  Start your day at the Superstition Shadows Aquatics Center with the Co-Ed Vollyball Tournament at 8:00 am.  The pool will be open from 10am - 2pm with swim activities including water games, races, and the Obstacle Course.   The main event will be held at the Apache Junction High School at 2525 S. Ironwood Road at the Football stadium.  The gates will open at 6 pm with live entertainment by Reign-N-Country from 6:30-8:30pm.  Free Watermelon will be available starting at 6 pm until it is gone!  Weather permitting, the Fireworks Extravaganza will begin at 8:30pm, presented by Republic Services.  Click here for more information

 

Cave Creek - Join the crowd at Harold's Cave Creek Corral on Sunday, July 3rd for a BBQ.  Doors open at 5:30 for open seating, first-come, first-served.  Enjoy face painting, shaved ice and a mobile game truck!   Call ahead for reserved seating 480-488-1906 (2 for $15, 4 for $20, and 10 for $35, does not include price for BBQ).  Live music by Hillbilly Deluxe and Desert Dixie.  FREE fireworks show starts at dark!  

 

Chandler - July 4th Fireworks Spectactular.  Held at Tumbleweek park at McQueen & Germann, this traditional fireworks display is brought to you by City of Chandler.  Festivities begin at 4:00 and close down at 10:30.  Food and drink vendors, along with activities for the whole family!  Fireworks begin at 9:00 (weather permitting).  Parking is $5.00.  VIP EXPERIENCE: VIP Area Presented by San Tan Brewery includes:  *Unlimited food from a selected menu provided by San Tan Brewery*Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks*Tables and chairs to dine at and watch the fireworks*A private cash bar for legal drinking age guests.  Ticket Prices, $20 for Adults, $10 for Kids 3 to 12 years old - Only 300 VIP Tickets Available.  

  

Rawhide, South of Awhatukee - Red, White and Rawhide Fireworks Spectacular.  Saturday, July 2nd, 2016.  Gates open at 4:00pm and go until the fireworks end!  Enjoy great music and food, fireworks and all the stunt action and activities that Rawhide has to offer.  Admission is $15 (plus tax & service fees) in advance and $20 at the door.  Kids 5 and under are free.  $10 CASH ONLY for parking.  No coolers, lawn chairs or umbrellas allowed.  If you've never been out to this old western town, make this year the time to do it.

 

Fountain Hills - Fourth at the Fountain.  July 4th, the festivities kick off at 6:00 at Fountain Park in Fountain Hills.  Music by DJ Steve Grosse to help pass the time, along with games, booths and prizes!  Bring chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets to relax and enjoy the evening.  Purchase Italian ice, frozen lemonade, and other goodies to help beat the heat.  Please do not bring glass, alcohol, personal fireworks, sparklers or other open flames, or pets.  The fireworks display will begin at 9:00 over the lake.

 

Scottsdale - Fireworks and Movie Night.  July 3rd, 2016 at Salt River Fields, gates open at 6:00.   $10 per car!  Sit under the stars and enjoy a movie followed by spectacular fireworks display.  Call 480-270-5000 for more details.

 

Maricopa - Great American 4th.  Maricopa's annual Independence Day celebration is on July 4th from 6:00 - 10:00 at Copper Sky Park.  Come and enjoy the entertainment, food vendors and the colorful fireworks to end the evening.  Cool off in the kids Water Zone, with both wet and dry inflatable bouncers and slides.  $5.00 for kids 3+ (Cash Only) for unlimited rides. 

 

Mesa - Arizona Celebration of Freedom.  Monday, July 4th from 6:00 - 10:00pm at Mesa Amphitheater.  Tons of entertainment including live music, Yankee Doodle kids zone, tailgate zone, splash zone, and patriotic military showcase, not to mention the many food vendors along the way.  The Salute to America presentation will begin approximately 9:30 and conclude with fireworks spectacular.   The "Coolest" Independence Festival in the State.  

 

Lake Pleasant - Lake Pleasant Fireworks and Pleasant Harbor Sunday, July 3rd from 5:00 - 9:00 pm.  Vehicle entry is $15.00 the day of the event. Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome.  There will be a Children’s Kid’s Zone which include: Bounce houses, Water Slides, a Euro Bungee Ride and “Kids Casting” by the “Federation Nation” Fishing Club.  Food vendors will be on hand and fireworks will begin at 9:00.  

 

 

Peoria - All American Festival.  Monday, July 4th from 5:00 - 10:00.  Activities include water zone, kids zone, food eating contest, cornhole contest, concessions and live entertainment.  Fireworks begin at 9:15pm, weather permitting.  Lawn chairs, blankets, coolers with food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted.  Admission is $10 and parking is FREE, as well as kids 12 and under.  Parking at Peoria Sports Complex is expected to be at full capacity between 7 and 8 p.m. Visitors may encounter closure signage if the parking lots are full.

 

Deer Valley - After Dark in the Park 2016.  This event is your appetizer to July 4th weekend.  It happens on the weekend BEFORE, on Saturday, June 25th from 7:00 - 9:00pm at Deer Valley Park.  Admission and parking is free.  Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and a picnic basket or cooler.  There will be music and for the kiddos, air jumps! Local vendors will be on hand selling food and beverages (cash). The evening will end with a fireworks display at 8:45 p.m.  No alcoholic beverages allowed.  For more information, call the City of Phoenix at 602-495-3735.

 

Phoenix - Fabulous Phoenix 4th.  Monday July 4th at Steele Indian School Park, located along the Central Corridor, from 6:00 - 10:00 - Rain or shine!.  Steele Indian School park is located at Indian School and 3rd St.  The 31st Annual Fabulous Phoenix 4th is one of the largest fireworks display in the southwest!  The free family event attracts 100,000-plus participants.  Two stages will feature local entertainers, a variety of vendors offering food and beverage, exhibits and a classic car display. Kids World will have kids rides, inflatables and a water spray zone.  Consider taking Valley Metro Rail to avoid event traffic. The stations at Indian School/Central and Campbell/Central are a short walk to the park's Central Avenue entrance. 

 

Phoenix Zoo - 4th of Zooly at the Zoo! Monday, July 4th from 7:00 - 10:00pm.  Join in the Independence Day celebration with all the animals.  There's a summer BBQ topped off  with a special viewing of the Tempe Town Lake Fireworks Spectacular show at a “VIP” seating area in the back of the Zoo!    From 7:00 - 8:30 there will be FREE carousel rides along with inflatable bounce house and slide.  BBQ dinner available from 7:00 to 8:30.  Reservations are required.  Adults 13+ $45.  Kids 3-12, $35, Kids under 2 are FREE.

 

Chase Field - Diamondbacks versus the Padres.  Monday, July 4th, game time is 6:40 p.m. but come early for a special pre-game ceremony paying tribute to our military -- past, present and future.  FREE commemorative t-shirt for the first 20,000 fans!  Tailgate Games start at 5 p.m.  Enjoy $4 beers and $1.50 hot dogs while competing in your old favorites like corn hole, Bimini Rings and more.  Following the game, the roof will open for the celebration of Fireworks! 

 

Queen Creek/San Tan Valley - Schnepf Farm 4th of July Celebration.  Come out to the Farm on Monday, July 4th from 4:00 - 10:00pm.  Admission is $20 per carload  – PORTION OF PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT THE Queen Creek PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.   Amusement rides and water slides will be open from 4pm-8:30.  Amusement Rides include:  miniature golf, Roller coaster, swingin Lady Bugz, honeybee adventure, Flying farmers, petting zoo, Rock Climbing Wall, Train rides,  Farm Sprinkler Pad,  Unlimited ride wristband $12 or $3 per ride. (card or cash).  From 4:00 - 9:00 there will be food trucks located around the festival grounds.  Fireworks will begin about 9:00.  Call or visit their website for more information.

 

Scottsdale - Scottsdale's 4th of July Celebration at Westworld.  Saturday, July 2nd from 3:00 - 9:30.  come out to the family-friendly patriotic wonderland INDOORS at WestWorld.  Enjoy entertainment by extreme trampoline show by Flippenout, super kid's play zone, petting zoo, pony rides, Dirty Money Cattle Company Bull Riding Competition, Mutton Busting, Star Wars "The Fourth Awakens" interactive stations, community stage featuring live entertainment, delicious food, traditional fireworks show and much more!  Tickets at www.ScottsdaleIndependenceDay.com or call 1.866.977.6849.

 

Tempe - Tempe Town Lake Festival.  Monday, July 4th.  Gates open at 5:00 at Tempe Beach Park.  Tickets on sale now at Fry's Grocery stores and available at 5:00 at the gate to Tempe Town Lake.  Live entertainment includes Poppy & The Unusal Suspects, Rhythm Edition, Donavan and the All Stars, and Laura Walsh.  At 7:00, is the patriotic City of Tempe color guard address and a flyover.  Fireworks begin approximately 9:00 shimmering over Tempe Town Lake.  Items allowed include: 1 gallon of sealed water per person. Blankets, portable chairs, personal cameras and personal umbrellas – up to 48” are permitted. All persons and bags are subject to search.

 

Surprise - 33rd Annual 4th of July Celebration  July 4th, gates open at 4:30 and game time at 5:30 at Surprise Recreation Campus.  Rookie League Baseball Game, bring canned food as your ticket for admission.  Fireworks begin following the game, at approximately 8:30.
